I love volunteering for KodeConnect because I wish an organization like this existed when I was younger! Through the Girls Who Code club, I get to see young girls become more confident in their own ideas and abilities especially related to STEM. And I enjoy hiking with my sisters in my free time.

I strongly believe in the mission of KodeConnect. I’ve always been passionate about engineering, science and math since I was a little girl. I am hoping to be able to share that passion with the younger generations and inspire them to pursue careers in STEM-related fields. I am looking to help give students every opportunity to learn more about engineering.

I've continued to maintain and grow a vast network (technical leaders, business founders, investors, authors) throughout the US (and abroad), as there's no greater value than the relationships we have and helping each other succeed in endeavors for the greater good. I've since also worked as an engineer, leader, and strategist with well-known brands and companies such as Volkswagon, GE, Fidelity, and Starwood Hotels. Having personally battled many hurdles that be with being an ambitions female engineer, I'm a strong advocate for minorities in technology, and am currently writing a book covering the importance of diversity and inclusion in tech companies.
