She takes the reigns at a momentous time for KodeConnect as we expand our reach and encourage the next generation of innovators and problem solvers. Alex volunteers with KodeConnect to teach children basic programming skills. He feels passionately that it is important to teach children that programming isn't as complicated as it may seem and that introducing kids to it at a young age builds their confidence to pursue careers in technology.

Mark is a software engineer in Boston helping KodeConnect refine curriculum, volunteering at teaching events, and lending a hand anywhere needed. Mark is passionate about helping young people empower themselves through technology and entrepreneurship skills. Mark also volunteers with BUILD Boston, Coder Dojo, and the Boston Collegiate Charter School.

April Pitter (Board Member)

“I enjoy volunteering with KodeConnect as we provide a great opportunity for our kids to learn. They aren’t just playing games they are problem solving and involved in STEM, which is what companies are geared towards these days. What an advantage for these young kids!”. You could typically find her volunteering through Fresenius or Fidelity, and she currently serves as a Board Member for KodeConnect.

Sara Czyzewicz (Board Member)

Sara is a leading software engineer, consultant, and tech entrepreneur. Having personally battled hurdles with being an ambitious female in a male-dominated industry, she's become a strong advocate for minorities in technology, believing "there's no greater value than the relationships we have, and helping each other succeed in endeavors for the greater good".

Sara's contributions to our organization range from hands-on work with instructing after- school children, volunteer recruiting, PR and brand awareness. Sara also volunteers as a Speaker Catalyst for TEDxYouth

Ed is an experienced, innovative, and accomplished higher education administrator in Enrollment Management and Student Services. A first-generation Filipino-American, he is a consultant and speaker in organizational change, leadership development, and digital technology and teaches in the graduate program for higher education administration at Bridgewater State University and online at Caldwell University.

She is currently a Human Resources Specialist for Harbor Health Services, Inc.  Tara manages the administration of benefit plans, worker’s compensation, as well as compliance.

Tara joined KodeConnect because she loved the mission of the organization which strives to help underrepresented children expand their STEM experience.

She has deep roots in her community and serves as a Board Member of two non-profit organizations: Girls Incorporated of Lynn and KodeConnect Inc. of Brockton.
